In the wild is a series in which Monica scouts a location and paints an abstract piece in response to the landscape, sometimes painting on location. She then takes the painting back out into the landscape in which inspired it and creates a fine art photograph of painting in landscape. The end result is meant to serve as both a call to witness our changing environments but to also add additional joy and meditative qualities to the viewers experience. Ultimately each piece is meant to serve as a beautiful homage to Mother Earth.
Limited edition archival museum quality prints are available framed or unframed. Edition of 50 per size. Signed in lower right corner and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. 1”w wood frames come in natural, white or black. Option to add a 1” white fabric mat to any frame. Frames come ready to hang. International orders prints only, shipped rolled in a durable tube.
